Marissa Skudlarek (Playwright, Producer, Costume Coordinator) grew up in Oregon and double-majored in Drama and French at Vassar College. She wrote Pleiades for the 2011 San Francisco Olympians Festival. In subsequent years, the Olympians Festival has commissioned her screenplay Aphrodite and her short plays Teucer, Laodike, and The Dryad and the Druid. Her other full-length plays include Deus ex Machina (Young Playwrights Festival National Competition winner, 2006) and The Rose of Youth (Marilyn Swartz Seven Award, 2008; EXIT Theatre staged reading, 2013). Her shorter plays have been produced by San Francisco Theater Pub, Un-Scripted Theatre, Wily West Productions, and the San Francisco One-Minute Play Festival, and she has worked in a literary or dramaturgical capacity with Cutting Ball Theater, the Bay One-Acts Festival, and Portland Center Stage. Her new translation of Jean Cocteau’s Orphée was seen at Theater Pub in April 2013. Katja Rivera (Director) is an actor and director who originally hails from Los Angeles, but now resides in Berkeley. She is an artistic associate with Shotgun Players, Custom Made Theatre and Playground-SF, and is a proud member of Actors Equity Association (AEA). She also is one of seven siblings, (though not all sisters) and has two daughters, Hannah and Ingrid, of whom she is immensely proud.

Jennifer Varat (Scenic Designer) is excited to collaborate with No Nude Men Productions for the first time and to work with such a talented group of people on the world premiere of Pleiades. She is a graduate of the University of California, Davis, with a BA in Theatrical Design and Interior Architecture. Her recent work includes Scenic and Properties Design for Take Me Out with Dragon Productions; Properties Design for Wild Boy at the University of San Francisco; Scenic Design for Rent, The Odd Couple, and Rumors at Studio 301; and Production Design for the films Home and Heart of a Champion, produced by Chapman University.
Colin Marcus Johnson (Lighting Designer) used to be an actor before he started stage managing 4 years ago. Soon after that, he also started designing lights and sound and doing a little assistant directing as needed. He is a company member with Performers Under Stress (PUS) and Theatre Robillard. In addition, Colin has designed for companies including Theatre Rhinoceros, Custom Made Theatre and Off Broadway West. Liz Ryder (Original Music/Sound Designer) is an award-winning composer, multi-instrumentalist, and sound designer based in San Francisco. She holds a Master’s Degree in Composition and Creative Music Technology from Bangor University, Wales, and is currently resident composer at Custom Made Theatre Co. She recently won a Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Award for sound design/music for Eurydice (2013); other CMTC music/sound design credits include The Crucible, Top Girls, The Pain and the Itch, Peter/Wendy, The Book of Liz, The Play about the Baby, The Devil and Billy Markham and Red Light Winter. Liz’s other credits include the scores for Rapunzel and the upcoming Around the World in 80 Days at Marin Theatre Co. and the score for Dead Man’s Cell Phone at Masquers Playhouse. No Nude Men (Producer) is an indy theater confederacy that has existed since March of 2003, producing classics, modern works, and world premieres. They have developed the work of Bay Area writers including Stuart Bousel, Erin Bregman, Ashley Cowan, David Duman, M. R. Fall, Bennett Fisher, Wylie Herman, Hilde Susan Jaegtnes, Alison Luterman, Nirmala Nataraj, Claire Rice and Susan Sobeloff. Since 2010, they have hosted the San Francisco Olympians Festival, a new works festival centered around Greek mythology. In 2010, they also collaborated with Conlan Media to stage the world premiere of Giant Bones, the official adaptation of short stories by renowned fantasy writer Peter S. Beagle. Their extensive list of directorial collaborators include Jesse Baldwin, Stuart Bousel, John Dixon, Ryan Hayes, Julia Heitner, Wylie Herman, Tore Ingersoll-Thorpe, Sara Judge, Christopher P.
